Debora Mekonen

About

I'm an Information Technology student at the University of Minnesota with a concentration in Security, graduating in August 2026. Through my coursework, projects, and professional experiences, I've developed a strong interest in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and the role security plays in protecting systems and information. My background includes experience in technical project management, stakeholder communication, and client-focused problem solving. While I enjoy the technical aspects of security, I'm also interested in the people and processes behind successful technology initiatives. I am currently seeking opportunities where I can continue developing my cybersecurity knowledge while contributing to projects that create meaningful impact.
